Location

This little red cottage Fårbo with white knots is located on the same plot of land that the cottage owner lives on in the small village of Gissebo. The nearest community is Hjorted, which is about 10 km away and the region is Småland. It is approximately 45 km to Västervik, Oskarshamn and Vimmerby.

Gissjön is about 200 meters from the cottage. The area is sparsely populated and perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay.

The cottage

The cabin's living space is approx. 27 m² and offers 4 beds for 4 people. In front of the cottage is a terrace with sun protection, outdoor furniture and barbecue. You enter the house via the terrace and find yourself directly in the open kitchen and family room. In front of you is the bathroom with toilet, shower and a washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped and has, among other things, a dishwasher and microwave.

The living room is furnished with a pull-out sofa for two adults, as well as a dining area with a smaller folding table and a wooden sofa. The sleeping loft above the kitchen has a wide mattress with room for two people. The ladder can be removed during the day so that it is not in the way.

Environment

Gissjön with a swimming area is only about 200 meters away, and if you like forest walks, you can start from the Fårbo cabin.

In Hjorted, about 10 kilometers away, there is a small grocery store and in Ankarsrum, about 20 km away, there is a larger grocery store. The cities of Vimmerby, Västervik and Oskarshamn are between 40–45 km.
